Ross on Wye is an historic market town situated in the beautiful Wye Valley. Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham are all approx 1 hour and London two and a half hours drive away. There are beautiful walks and numerous outdoor activities in the area to enjoy, including horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, paintballing, tennis, cricket, golf, swimming as well as many interesting historic places to visit such as Goodrich Castle, Hereford Cathedral and the Mappa Mundi, Berrington Hall, Hampton Court etc. Visits to the Westons Cider factory, Three Choirs Vineyard, Symonds Yat, the Black Mountains, the famous book town of Hay on Wye and the delightful market towns on Ledbury, Monmouth, Leominster and of course Ross on Wye all make superb 'days out'.
